What is acupuncture?
Acupuncture is a safe and gentle approach to help you to deal with the stresses
and strains of everyday life.
These stresses and strains can become physical and emotional symptoms in your body. These might include: anxiety, arthritis, back pain, depression, insomnia,
fertility issues, menstrual problems, migraines
and other reoccurring illnesses.
Acupuncture addresses these types of symptoms and conditions by improving your overall well being and helping restore the body’s natural balance. People who have had acupuncture report improvements in many different areas of their physical and emotional health.

How does acupuncture work?
In the same way that when you notice something is wrong with your car you will take it to a mechanic who will start the engine, lift the bonnet and listen for the signs that
indicate a particular fault.
As an acupuncturist I am trained to
recognise the body’s symptoms
telling us that something is wrong.
Then using needles and taking a full history from you, I am able to make the necessary adjustments to enable your recovery and to help you to feel and function at your best.
Acupuncture uses very fine needles to stimulate your own natural healing response, resulting in an increased sense of well being and positivity and an improvement in the physical and emotional symptoms that you have been experiencing.
